On March 12th, 2024, Gamification Global team had a chance to celebrate the successful launch of our community on the first GG’s meetup.

Due to our disperse locations we predominantly work remotely, so having a chance to finally exchange experiences from launch, get to know each other better, appreciate some old tech and plan the future face to face was truly brilliant.

Visit in Warsaw’s Museum of Computers and Games

To lessen the formality, we decided to visit Warsaw’s Museum of Computers and Games. We grew up with games. An opportunity to experience ground-breaking titles from the earliest days and test the incredible variety of controllers and systems was enlightening. But a true highlight of the place was definitely the committed, knowledgeable and passionate team full.

Special shout out goes to Mariusz with whom we had a very deep, insightful conversation. Who knows, maybe we’ll have an exciting project announcement soon for you, but for now you have to arm yourselves with patience. To give ourselves a boost of energy and a chance to discuss the visit, we went for a meal.

Playful Meal

Thanks to Aga’s geolocation skills and a bit of luck, we landed in Bobby Burger where the crew spoiled us. Not only we had a great meal, but also potentially the best table we could hope so as gaming enthusiasts. This is the perfect example of a picture saying more than a thousand words.

Additionally, it was a perfect opportunity to leverage gamification for our own needs. Ike knew everyone present, but so far Konrad and Aga didn’t have an opportunity to properly get to know each other. Fortunately, we had a perfect serious game to alleviate the stress of saying a few words about oneself. More on that in an upcoming review.

Next stop

But, all of what’s good comes to an end. After a great meal and brainstorming session, we had to say goodbyes and depart on the long journey home. Even longer, if you miss your train, huh, Konrad? With unwavering determination and a shared vision, Gamification Global’s journey has started for good and… you are invited!
